2024 | Reverse Proof Krugerrand
The South African Mint introduces the first ever 1 oz gold Krugerrand with a reverse proof finish applied to the obverse and reverse, bearing the same iconic design first seen on the Krugerrand 57 years ago, in 1967.
The surface finish on the Reverse Proof 1 oz gold Krugerrand shows the design of the coin as a polished finish against a frosted background, the reversal of the standard proof finish where the design is frosted against a mirror background.
