MAKING OUR MARK AT THE
WORLD MONEY FAIR IN BERLIN
The World Money Fair is one of the leading numismatic events globally, and its 49th rendition
was held in Berlin in January 2020. There, the Mint showcased its latest collections and
launched the Big Five rhino coin to the world. The event was a success, with the Big Five
elephant coins selling out completely.
The Mint stand at the 2020 World Money Fair was popular with visitors, who enjoyed the safari
backdrop where hats and shirts were supplied to take photos against a depiction of the Southern
African savanna.
